SC430 owners, I'm sorry, but I had to do it.......This one is for you Bosco!
This morning, I was getting my daily fill on my starbucks when a SC430 pulls up and takes the spot next to my TT. I smiled and thought about Bosco...
He waited in line with me and for some reason got his coffee before me. After heading back to my car, I noticed him checking out my car. The conversation went something like this.....
Man: Nice car. Is it a new beetle?
Me: No, its the Audi TT. The same designer of the beetle made the TT so they share some traits.
Me: So how long did own your SLK?
Man: Oh its not a SLK....(i cut him off)
Me: Oh (looked at it again), sure looks like an SLK. Are you sure?
Man
he obivously knows I'm teasing him)Its a Lexus SC430.
Me: You sure?
Man: Yes....
Me: oh sorry, my bad....Say, how much you get this car for?
Man: Out the door was about 75k.
Me: HOLY ****! You got RIPPED OFF!
I then proceeded to get into my car laughing really really loud.
I know it was very rude and probably very mean, but he started it :P

Funny story related to this
Took my dad to the LA car show last weekend. We went through Ford then Audi,Mazda, VW, BMW and then Lexus. He asked me why a TT was parked in the Lexus show are, I laughed and told him that it was the new Lexus. He then said "well it sure looks like your TT". My Dad is not a car buff, but is savvy enough to recognize a bad copy.
