Default Paul (kareemofwheat) has them now and he loves them

dials in crazy amounts of negative camber and goes autocrossing with great success!

Default I've had mine for awhile and like them

a little grease helps the noise , when I look at DTM racing on speed and look at that camber it reminds me of the ground control plates on my TT when I'm heading to the track.

Default Pulled em...>>

With every thing else I have going on the front (22mm bar, Mk 1 arms, Eibachs, Bilsteins) I found them a little harsh on bad roads. Transmitted more tire noise too which irritated me. Not a track car, so no need for more camber really. Car works great as it is. Sold em to Kareem who is now an Auto-X star...

Default which BTW, is also a problem with going with VF motor mounts...they transmit too

much road noise. there's no dampening. i'm thinking about going back to OEM motor mounts.

Default Get rid of that KMD crank pulley first.

Just a friendly suggestion from someone who pulled his lightweight pulley and is very, very happy with the mounts.

Default pls explain what process you went through...you had a KMD pulley in with VF mounts

first and then pulled the pulley out?

are you using the OEM pulley and that made the difference?

and you have both the driver's side and passenger side VF mounts, AND the VF pendulum mount as well?

Default I had the Neuspeed pulley set (very light)

I have all three VF mounts in now with the OEM harmonic damper back on. Check the link below, and then read my follow-up posted on 4/15/2006 at 16:53:12.

Earlier thread

Default Jack, that very interesting. didn't know that the OEM pully was a harmonic device,

but i can understand how it would dampen some or most of the engine vibration. so you're telling me that you have absolutely no vibration in the cabin at all?

i did do the lighten pully prior to the VF mounts...where i didn't notice any downsides to the pulley.

i'm curious to know if you have had increase road noise as well. most likely, i will put the OEM pulley back in...that's my plan, and hopefully, it will resolve some of my issues. although i already took one VF mount out...may possibly go back and put it back in then if changing the pulley results in no vibration.

thx and if you can shed any more info on this, i would appreciate it.
