<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/92244/img_8232.jpg"></center><p>A blury pic of my dirty car. Hey, gotta get attention somehow! I know ya all like pix! ;D
...issue. :( Anyone? I check via climat-control all the time. Highway 89-90 degree. Normal driving 94-96. Idle/slow driving usually round 96, goes up to 104-105 after spirited driving. Max was like 110, i believe! Im going to get it fixed by warranty as soon as possible, but for now...i need to know if im O.K. to keep on driving. Any inputs? TIA P.S. Sorry for the long @$$ sig. Cant get photoshop anywhere(im broke). Any valunteers to help me with that one??? Does beer sound good to you? ;) Via UPS. haha Or gtg if local. |
so if you don't know what the safe ranges even are, how come you think you have an overheating
problem? And what precisely are you going to have fixed under warranty?

Doesn't sound too out of range to me.

I like the needle to stay steady at 12, if very hot weather and traffic, ok 1/2 tick more...
...thats how it is in the A6, n i thought should be the same in here. Not right? Also, i checked if the fans are working properly and sometimes when it idles - NONE of the fans work. NONE, NETIHER one! I think this is waay off! I actually saw it first time today that they dont work at all times, but before the main one always used to work. Dont know exactly when the main one shuts off, but it seems that once i turn on the A/C, both of them start spinning. Again, have the car for 2months, not too familiar with it yet. But im deffinitelly sure that the main fan should work, and that 100-101 degree, cant be right.
Correct me if im wrong. TIA |
Main fan not always workin. Noticed today. Just wrote the whole thing to OldSchool...

Forgot to notice that...
The gauge cluster is crazy. Needle goes 1/2 past 12 at all times i drive. Used to be at 12 all the time when i bought the car 2 months ago.
Sori for my bad (4th year) of English. =] Thanx in advance again! |
Re: I like the needle to stay steady at 12, if very hot weather and traffic, ok 1/2 tick more...
My needle stays at 12, the only time it goes past is when I autoX, and then it goes 1 notch clockwise, sometimes a slight bit more that 1 notch, and then i know i gotta let it cooooool.
