My TT has 16K miles. The last service was the 10K service last October. The local Audi service tells me that the rule is 20K miles or 6 months, whatever comes first. Therefore I should have the 20K service now. Does that sound right? I had never heard -or read- the 6 months part.

That is what my service writer told me. I'm having my 32k done with only 22k on the car (kms)

I called Audi USA Customer Service. What they say is that after the 2002 TT model year, Audi changed the maintenance schedule. It now is to eliminate the 5K service, so service is every 10K miles or 6mos., whatever comes first. My car is a 2001, and its Maintenance Manual says that after the 10K service, it is every 10K miles or 12 mos., whatever comes first. But they claim that at the back of the Maintenance Manual that I have it says that Audi can change the schedule at any time without informing the customer. That is what they said. They gave me a Case # and said Good Bye...
