I know it has been mentioned before; however, today the temp here was a whopping 30 degrees (high) and the privacy screen decided to make LOTS of noise. The dealer says he'll order another one. Does that make any sense??? I think it is due to the plastic and the temperature. Anyone "illuminate" me as to what the resolution is/should be? TIA

Sometimes if the seats are in the upright position and they're not fully "clicked" onto the chrome pin that protrudes from the interior sides they rattle like hell. Have you checked that?

Same in happening to me.
My car is at the dealer now to be fixed for this problem. They are gonna put some oil inside of the beams of the screen. Maybe this works for u.

"It's all over the damn internet!" that the parts bin ones are made better / differently than stock.

For now, mine rests on the hatch floor.

It's been posted before...
Squirt some clear calk into the side tabs where the meet the body of the screen, let dry overnight...problem gone!
