Short of putting a sock on my stick ...
anyone developed a "classy" way of covering their shifter to protect themselves from the branding iron aluminum ring in the summer heat?
I'm afraid of going with any aftermarket product as I fear such non-Audi authorized products may void my warranty.

I have a great Audi Sun Shade Scree on my front Window that works great. Its
silve with the Audi Rings and Audi written in the middle of it. The shifter and steering wheel are not at all hot when I get in the car.

Stratmosphere has a reasonably priced cover for the roadster.
It self-ties with velcro onto the mirrors and has custom "pockets" that slip over the seatbacks. Goes on and off in a few seconds. Check their site.
