Default Slave Cylinder - Audi TT Quattro 2002

Hi their,

I am in need of a new slave cylinder but before my car was built in July 2002, their is a variant. I was told to contact audi for a OE number for the correct part.

Audi were not helpful. They said that they don't give out part numbers due to its company policy.

Is their anyone that could help?

Thank you

I was told the other way of finding out was to take it off.

Does anyone know where abouts it is?

1. Remove transmission. A fun job on a TT Quattro. Even more fun to put it back into the car.
2. Slide slave cylinder/throwout bearing off of transmission shaft.
3. Buy the service manual for your car or a subscription to Alldata or Elsawin.
4. Perform step 3 before step 1.
