Default I use my Palm Tungsten T2 and colors and fast screen refresh help...>

When doing traces (real-time graphing) each of 4 potential measurements displays in a different color so you can keep track of what's what.

With people changing phones every year or two I don't know if I'd want to lock ProDiag into the phone, though. Perhaps you can pick up a cheap T2 of T3 on eBay?

Default They'll let you switch phones...

I went from a treo 180 to the 600 and can switch to the 650 with another call to customer service.
I also have pocket tunes as an emergency mp3 player when *******s start yapping on their cellphones when I take the train.
A dedicated palm is cool as well though.

Default like MarkN says, get the treo. you'll find that you'll use it more and have it on you

more than the old palm since it has a phone and just about everything else you need. i just leave the cables in the car.

Default you'll be glad you did. and besides, its a nice excuse to get a fabulous

device. yeah, some people say its too big, but i use more palm apps now that its all in the treo since i have it with me at all times...its unlimited as far as what you can do with it. let me know if you need any help or want to try something out.

Default shadetree customer service is very cool. besides getting someone on the phone,

they will allow you to transfer the pro-diag to different devices when you change them. one of the engineers or owners has one, so he makes sure that their software works with it.

Default Post hijack...what do you 650/Pro Diag users use for the phone-2-serial cable?

I'm still running ProDiag on my old Tungsten T because I can't find a good solution to plu my phone into the OBD port cable.

That's good to know. I like the form factor and the software works great.
