Default So...heres my thinking...

I am pondering finding a used TT dash, with the idea of creating a CF one for my car...not a CF coating..but a true CF dash like on certain race cars etc...

Any idea of a breaker who would stock such a thing?...

Default Theirs a couple of wreckers who specialize in exotics..

check online..ive seen a few salvage companies selling wrecks..problem is though they might want to see dash with the car..where as if you can find a car where its being parted out...dash might be blood soaked or cracked...

Default Do a search.. I was talking to

Jason about this back in my MCEngineer days.. Im pretty sure he said removing the dash took a good 8 hours which is why I ditched the idea.. Granted it might not be as hard as I think, Ive removed the entire underbody of the dash, never attempted the top though.. I wouldn't go for a shell either, Id want a full replacement.. I bet it could be done.. It would look real phatt too, just like the DTM cars..

Default yeah but isnt that typical DTm stuff where the manufacturer

must retain stock dash..but is allowed to add digital pods, and remove heat controls and stereo stuff..

Default None of them have a CF dash? I thought I saw one with a CF dash in a picture?

I know all of them don't because my friend pointed that out one day while watching speed.. : /

Default I guess...Still closer to a manufacturers car than a nascar is though

...not a dig at nascar...but I have never seen a 2 door taurus...

And most of the DTM cars retain the basic product identity.

Made me smile to first see a DTM TT and notice the airvents...LOL,

Default I just looked in the bentley, and it doesn't seem like its too hard to remove the dash

Youve probably removed everything but the top dash panel..
