MAN, I wish I could keep her, I have had so many great times and almost no bad times in the TT!

On the way to work today, I was really driving mellow, and then I was pretty close to work (its an hour each way) and I opened it up a little and let out a little aggression, and all I have to say is this - WHAT AN AMAZING CAR!

She still to this day, pulls like a raped ape - wow, I wish so bad that I would come into some money and I would be able to keep her!

Default i don't understand how selling the TT and buying another car... which you will certainly mod...

is going to save you any money. the cheapest car is the one that's in your garage and is already paid for. i'm still stunned that you're trying to sell this, bud!

Default i thinking the same as well. why even bother selling when everything is already done to it

the way you want.

is it the insurance? the gas mileage? what?

you'd be losing money if you sold it.

Default Maybe you do need a new car, I don't characterize a chipped TT as pulling like a raped ape.

You need to ride in a real fast car

Default Answers, in money .....

Well, if I can get at least $15k for the TT which I really do think I can, then I can buy a cheaper, older BMW (maybe a 1995 318ti Sport for $5k that I have been looking at lately) and then only do a few things to it like wheels, intake and exhaust, I think I will have enough money left over to fix the wifey's Passat (minor body work) clean it up, and sell that too, hopefully for about $10k (its a 2000 Passat 4 motion with less than 50k on the clock and really clean) and then buy the wifey a mini van for about half that - we should have about $6 - 8k left for bills - kids are getting really expensive!

Hope that explains everything - lol

wife, 3 kids, big house - should I go on?

Should I mention the fact that 2 of my kids are girls and they are teenagers.

Or should I tell you that the other kid is my son - little Adam - lol, and he always wants something?

Anyway, money makes the world go round!

Default well, if you're on that road I wouldn't get the 318ti. Get something more reliable and that looks

decent. I'm sure you can find something better for 5K or even for less. Save up and when you're ready financially, get a real toy. These situations are tough so don't make it worse by getting into another money pit.
