Default Some observations on rear-center break line and interior lighting bulbs for LED Upgrade

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/25464/dsc00348.jpg"></center><p>They look nothing like incandecent and /or LEDs, but seeing the resistors on the PWB would say they are LEDs maybe or special filament bulbs...

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/25464/dsc00349.jpg">

The top-center interior bulb is a 41x10mm

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/25464/dsc00353.jpg">

But the map lights are 5W 3860, which I can't find a cross-reference P/N for an LED replacement.

Anyone knows? Maybe Jeff Bipes would...

TIA

Default Center brake lights are LED's, yes. You will not find a cross-ref for those type of lamps, either...

the bayonet mount, or the horizontal mount.
you would have to custom make them, like build them into the unit itself.

Don't you think that this base type would fit in there?
10mm (0.35") Single LED, Miniature Bayonet (BA9S) Base

More in here...

Default Cross ref. it to 12V, 5w then. Base should be the same. Don't be surprised if you are disappointed

with the brightness.
