Default Some quick pix of Golf 337 18inch rims on my TT coupe ... >>

Sold my TT 5-spokes, borrowed some 337 rims from a friend for the time being, as i wait for Edge Racing to recieve my Flik Wasps 18s in Black w/ Polished Lip on April 5th Got an almost-new set of P7000s for dirt cheap from my wheel and tire shop, 600$can, 225/40-18 in the front and 255/35-18 in the back (yes, that's a 255-wide tire on a 7.5inch rim.

NOTE, obviously rims serve a visual view more pleasing to the eye, but here's another thing i'm going for here and playing around with :
Stock TT 5-spoke rim + Dunlop Sp5000 in 235/45-17 weigh 47 pounds.
337 18s + P7000 in 225/40-18 weigh 45 pounds.
Flik Wasp 18"(21pounds) + P7000 in 225/40-18 (21 pounds) weigh a close estimate of 42 pounds.

More pics soon to come, with TT being clean this time around Cheers

Default A question....

Any particular reason you did not go with the 255's up front on your new setup, other than cosmetic???? TIA

Golf wheel offsets are more than they are on TT's. looks like the only thing you need is a nice sized H&R spacer to bring the rears back where they were stock.....or more.

Default Just wait a few months - those will be on both the R32 and 20th AE GTI and i'm sure you'll find

several sets for sale on Vortex. Not many people are fond of that wheel. It's made by OZ. I personally like it alot but I'm a multispoke kinda guy.

Default GTI 337 wheels are 18"x7.5" BBS RC's - you can buy 18"x8" RC's just about anywhere

these are light and strong as they are made by a special spin-forge technique by BBS.
