Default Sooo, last week I had an issue with my Boost Machine leaking boost and making funny noises...

i took it out, and things got better. However, the last couple days things went to hell again, boosty car, epc's, llimp mode, running crappy, etc. It was the same feeling as before. I got underneath the "bonnet" and found the problem. little sheister plastic t-barb used to connect the line for the boost gauge. had developed a tiny crack, but was getting un-tinier by the hour. I don't have a spare, so i had to put some straight tubing in there, but now she's smooth like butta baby.

in case y'all cared

Default I'm thinking a once a month pressure test might be in order...

with all the potential for boost leaks it's possible to have a problem that gets slowly worse without really noticing it. I've been checking my MAF regularly for the same reason.

Default good to know. I crimped my compression tubing installing it this weekend,

Now I'm scared to hook up the boost to it.

Default I just check the block 032 readout to make sure the adaptation is within range...

I just got the car back from the dealer and it felt a bit sluggish, the long term value was at -5%, with the BAMM it's usually right at 0. I checked again tonight and it's at -3% so it's probably just re-adapting after the battery was disconnected. If it does start to get way out of range I'll do a g/sec run but I can check block 032 in the garage.
