Default New TT as per Dealer

I was at Pacific Audi setting up my new lease on my replacement TT. I wasn't sure about how long to set up my term since the new one is on the way. They said this new Golf V platform version has been trash canned. They told me Audi dropped Golf based TT to go in a completely fresh direction. So the new concept is still 2 years away, This new concept we are all seeing has supposedly been trashed, according to them :-(

Default Dealer didn't want you to get cold feet and wait for the new one if it's only a year

He has inventory sitting on his lot now he needs to move, and thats the only reason he cares what Audi is coming out with next and when. I trust salespeople and the sales side of dealerships a lot less than service departments and we all know the rep. of Audi Service it seems.

That one actually seems like a nice evolution.
