It sure was fun getting my hands dirty - thought I would share a pic too:

P.S. For those that do not know, we changed out the steering rack (Pretty BIG job too)!

Default I changed one out on a 1991 Audi 100, it sucked, but pretty straight forward

just a lot of muscle and twisting... had no instructions, just went for it, works out well for my sister

Default Tom, that is nuts!

You had NO instructions - OMG, I can only imagine.

We got it out, I am pretty sure getting the new one in should not be all that bad.

Where is TT-central going to be this year - AND WHEN?

Default pfffttttttt

we've had plenty of major ice storms and snow here and they do dump stuff on the roads in those cases. Not only that I drive through muddy oklahoma red dirt road construction 4 times a day, 5 days a week.

Don't think for a minute I've been blessed with nice clean dry roads all winter.
