Default Sportec Wheels - Possible problem? Sportec experts needed!

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/22936/sportec.jpg"></center><p>
I just bought some Sportecs from Edge Racing, (I only received 3 out of 4 of them today, maybe UPS will bring the 4th tomorrow I dunno), anyway. 2 out of 3 of them ahve this weird bubble problem on the wheel where it says SPORTEC. And I don't know if it is normal or if I should have Edge Racing replace them? Please help, thanks!

Default I just looked at mine...

and I have a very slight raised area in the place that you show in your pics on all 4 of mine. I would NOT call them bubbles though and in my case, I think all is right with the world.

It looks like the logo is stamped into the wheel after the metal is formed and therefore some displacement is occuring. If it were me, I would not return them and I would not have any issues with them at all.

I say slap 'em on and be done with it... they look great on our cars.

Default Yea, I think their process leave room for a few inconsistencies, but

I think once they are on and you get to liking the look (hopefully you will), you'll not even notice the logo thing.

Good luck!

Default Don't think you'd have a performance problem, but I'd send

the pictures to Max and see what his response is...no harm in trying for four perfect looking logos for what those wheels cost. They are my favorites ;-D

Default Like some said below...unless the finish has lifted from the metal and>>>

that does not appear to be the case then there is not proble,,,looked at my Sportecs and did see a bit of what you described but is just the manufacturing process and not a defect.

Unless it looks/feels like a problem with the paint/finish, slap them on and enjoy!
