Default Spots on rear window?

My new coupe has small translucent spots all over the rear window that are fairly visible when viewed from inside at the right (wrong?) angles. At first I thought the dealership had spattered wax on the glass, but I couldn't clean it off from the outside or the inside.

I pointed them out to the guy who tinted my windows yesterday, and he said that they are actually small blemishes within the glass that sometimes form when the hot glass sheet is bent into the desired shape for the window. Does this sound right? Does anyone else have these? Am I too picky?

Actually, it's the rare and coveted "leopard-style" rear window. An Audi exclusive!

Default It's done during the heat strengthening process to prevent long shards of glass when broken.

Glass breaks into shorter curved pieces.

Default It is polarized glass. It reduces glare.

Speaking of fun with polarized sun glasses. Look at the GM and Pontiac front windshields. They look like gold or purple. Also look out of tinted window with ploarized glasses and you see a rainbow on every highlight.

Can't be polarized glass. I wear polarized sunglasses, and there is no diff at different angles.
