Spy photos! Freeman Thomas' TT? (pic 1)...

As most of you know, Freeman Thomas is the fellow who designed the TT's stunning lines. Unfortunately, the talented designer was hired away by VW/Audi AG's competitor Daimler Chrysler AG, and he is now in charge of their design dept.
Thomas is now based out of Auburn Hills, MI. I have met a good friend of Thomas', and I tried to convince Thomas via the friend to speak at a SoCal TT Club meeting. The friend got back to me, and said that Freeman would love to, but is would be verbotten, due to his employment with Daimler Chrysler.
The friend also said that Freeman does make his way to the Daimler Chrysler Pacifica design center quite frequently. This center is about 3 buildings away from my office. I gave the friend my business card, and told him to pass it along to Freeman, and if he was interested, cigars and martinis were on me. Of course, I didn't hold my breath.
Well as you might have guessed, no call. But I do think that I spotted his TT today. It was parked in the best parking space right next to the front door. So I drove up for a closer look. Michigan plates, must be him all right.
So I got on the phone to see if I could get him to come out for a quick pic.
"Daimler Chrysler Pacifica, how may I direct your call?"
"Freeman Thomas please"
"Yes, may I ask who's calling?"
"Brad Willis"
"And what firm are you with Mr. Willis?"
"SoCal TT Club"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Thomas is not here. He's in Michigan."
"So that's not his TT with Michigan plates parked out front?"
"No sir, it's not." (Yeah, right)
"Okay, thank you very much.
Bear in mind that I have called before, and they immediately said that he was in Auburn Hills, rather than doing this liTTle call screening bit, so I'm pretty sure that he was there.
I should also note that typically, 99.98% of the vehicles in this lot are Daimler Chrysler products. However, if this is his TT, as it appears to be, then it's good to see that he's still driving his (and our) "baby".
So here's the pics:

Exactly, and if indeed this is Mr. Thomas' TT, he apparently share this view.
