Weird, mine hasn't squeaked at all since I got the car
Maybe I've got the music turned up too loud..nope, I know, it's that darn privacy shelf squeaking that's preventing me from hearing the seat 
Seriously, haven't had either seat squeak at all..of course I've got the thing all the way down to the floor for the height adjustment.

The dealer should replace the privacy shelf for free if it is bothering you.
I took mine to have it replaced, no questions asked. They ordered one and the next week it was in and ready for installation. No problems since. -Doug
