Squeal on startup after timing belt change?
Recently I replaced timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, water pump and accessory belt (my labor). At the first (and many subsequent) startup, I get a bearing-like squeal for about two minutes then it goes away.
My local parts supplier says they have no idea (probably would show more interest had I paid them to do labor).
Does anyone have experience with this? I just bought a stethoscope and will start checking the new components if I can get to them!

Not the A/C this time
The noise is independent of A/C clutch in/out, changes with RPM, disappears after 2 minutes of idle and is not the alternator.
I'm checking each suspect with stethoscope one-by-one...

Took off the bellypan and a belt fell to the ground. Seems my overheating was caused by a snapped...
