Default Start of some corrosion on a 2000 TTQC...anyone else?

Today while waxing my Raven Black colored TT, I noticed some light surface rust beginning to develop under/around the Audi 4ring emblem mounted on the rear decklid.

Anyone else have this problem. Spots are surface oriented and quite small, but it's the beginnings of a potential '*****' in the armor.

Default You sure it's not some sort of surface contaminant? Have

found bizarre little rust-colored spots on my TT on occasion...they've always come off with clay bar...some kind of road gack!

Default Yes, I have it.. (more)

I am bringing it up next time I am at the dealer. I also have some other paint issues (looks almost like a smoke covered mirror on some parts of my paint, very weird looking, gets almost a rainbow effect), but I am also getting small rust spots right around the audi rings in the rear.

Default Mine has a little spot under the bottom of the first ring in the back,

hard to get to it to see how big it is but did remove the spot back up to the edge of the ring with the clay bar and then rewaxed, but I am worried about the spot still since I obviously have not taken care of the problem only the streak from it.
