Steve, you would recommend that Stinger Engine Support Bar for Timing Belt/Clutch jobs right?

Default Steve, you would recommend that Stinger Engine Support Bar for Timing Belt/Clutch jobs right?

Is there something better out there that is reasonably priced? New timing belt job in a month, and clutch this summer. Jack under the engine works, but this seems to solve some of the issues with that.

Default It's a nice, heavy duty tool......>>

That should make the job easier. For $86 it's a bargain..YOu could make one for less, but I Had a few uses for it coming up so I just went for it. Tools are always good investments..

Steve, where is the load bearing points that are carrying the engine weight from the stinger bar?

Default Two hanger points...>

There is a large hole in the casting right under your engine code (about where the support hangr is in that pic) and another Metal hanger ring on the other end of the engine for hanging the transmission end..

yep, exactly at the point where the fenders are attached to the unibody, thus @ a reinforced point
