Strange Behavior

Anyone ever have trouble with the window auto-up/auto-down feature?

For me, the problems occurs after I have simultaneously used the auto-down feature on both windows. When I attempt to put the windows back up with the auto-up feature, the windows begin to close, but close to completing their upward travel, one of the two windows stops and begins to go back down, part way.

Once this occurs, the auto-up feature no longer works and I have to hold the button in the up position to completely close the window. Once both windows are closed, however, I am able to use the auto-up/auto-down feature again till the process repeats itself, approximately 50% of the time.

Of course, when I pointed it out to the dealer service, the problem ceased to exist.

The dealer has a plausible theory.

The thickness of the window tint is activating the "pinch protection" feature, causing the window to go back down.

Can anyone else support or debunk this theory with their TT experiences?

Dealer is BS. Happened on my car, NO tint, after changing the battery.>>>

Happened twice, both on different drives ( i.e. the car was shutoff and sat in between occurences, ) but it hasn't happened since ( at least 1.5 months. )

TT electrical gremlins.

That happens. Just reset and go on with life..

Actually....

Depending... you might want to use some window tint spray on your tints.. it contains silicone, and they won't "grip" as much against the rubber. It can technically happen.

It can also be the adjustment of the window.
