Default Strange Noise Coming from steering wheel
Its been like this for a few months now. Only happens when I am steering slowy. You can really hear the sound from 40 seconds to the end of the clip. The sound is coming from inside the car and not related to steering pump noise or belts. Also my steering is fine, goes back to center when turned and no leaks in rack. Like Mike said, check the fluid level (use VW/Audi fluid)

Default Sounds like there's a midget stuck under your dash....
who complains when you turn the wheel and smack him on the head.
It does sound, though, like some bearing needs greasing in your steering wheel.

Default Could be as simple as materials rubbing...
... last time I heard that sound from my steering wheel, I just adjusted the entire column down and towards me a smidgen.
