Default Stupid Roadster Question- Tonneau

Its not quite a tonneau. Its what covers the top after the top is down. Its leather and cumbersome. Question: Is there a proper way to fit it into the trunk? I suck at tetris and still cant figure it out without bending it in some awkward shape. I think I may just toss it into storage or use it as a freakin' doormat. Blah.

First, pretty sure it's vinyl, buy you are right, very cumbersome. I never use it.

I use mine on occasions, gives a cleaner look. However, once I was caught in rain and needed to quickly remove it. There are push levers on both door post that releases the front wings. I must not have had it completely fastened before. Also I store it in the trunk, by folding it up, upside down, wing tips facing out of the trunk. Then slide one side in all the way into the little pocket in the back of the trunk, that allows enough room to jockey it around to clear the other side.

Default Mine usually sits in the garage, there is a soft cover..................

that folds up small, and some have modified their original and cut it in half. Some guys store it behind the seats, with the wings down

Default Total PITA, I don't keep it in the car (takes up the whole d*mn trunk!). I only use it if I am out

for the day and it will NOT rain. I like the look but not the hassle.

Here is the soft cover. I am thinking about picking this up... Nice, but spendy...

http://www.stratmosphere.com/tt_softboot_cover.htm</a

Yes. Fold the wings over and put it in the trunk at an angle. Mine stays in the garage.
