I am looking for a car bra to put on when I make long highway trips. Any suggestions/experiences?
The audi OEM looks nice: http://collection.audiusa.com/
but Colgan might also be good:

if any of you use/suggest a particular brand for the TT let me know, thanks!
I would do clear bra, but can't justify spending $750ish at this point.

Most would not recommend, damages the paint. Use temporary spray on or painter's tape.

Check on that $225 Jeff
If it's who I think it is, that's just for clear-bra on the hood and the front edge of the quarter panels and not the bumper itself. I was about to do that until I checked into it more and their theory was that since the bumper is plastic and the paint has a flex agent it doesn't need clear-bra. Sounds good in theory but real life says otherwise.
I still plan on getting Jeff B. to do the spray on clear bra to the TT sometime once it's back on the road. I know he had another person wanting to do it as well. Perhaps all three of us can go in on a big order of the spray and get it even cheaper. I definitely like the way it looks on Jeff's roadster.

I got the complete kit from ryan @ autopaintguard.com
You'll have to email him at the above address to get your price, but I paid under $350. This set includes the bumper, front wheel arch, sides and headlights.
I haven't put it on yet as I need to take care of some chips first.

quote from the guy that
does teh work for Raymond Auto Body. I was stunned... the e46 bumper is pretty elaborate. I asked how he could do it, he said I used one sheet then trimmed it on the car. The trick is a steady enough hand to cut the clear bra, not the paint.

Not the same but similar
The stuff Jeff used requires spraying/painting equipment. I've seen it on his Roadster and it really looks great, unless you're looking for it you wouldn't know it's there.
It's the Quick Peel at the following link.

http://www.protint.com/QuickPeel.ivnu</a
