From T-boned to Totalled
Some of you may remember my posting in early September about how my little TT was T-boned--hit directly in the driver's side door. I walked away unscathed, but The Hornett did not do so well.
After 11 weeks in the collision repair shop, being denuded by caring hands, more and more damage was uncovered. Laid bare, she showed her injured parts to all the world. Her frame/unibody unrepairable.
State Farm finally totalled her just before Thanksgiving and I picked up the checks today.
She gave her life for me and for that I will always be thankful.
Now, to pick out a new car...

Yeap! I was DoubleTT boned and the ToTTal damage
was not visible until she was bare neckeTT. Insurance companies ususlly will attempt to fix it then total it; especially if they find a body shop that is willing to try. It's called transfer of liability.
