Default Take it to the track...

Shocking thing to me is that one of the dead is a 61 year old man who was there with his 27 year old daughter who in turn had her child there as well..... at 3:40 in the morning. Stupidity.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/16/drag.race.deaths.ap/index.html</a

Default This is a terrible thing...However,>>>

Earlier today the reports on all news channels I saw were that two white crown vic's came out of nowhere at a high rate of speed as the races were ending and people were leaving. Two white crown vic's at the same time to me sounds like the police swooping in. I suppose only the people on the scene will ever really know. Either way the track is the place for things like this. Too bad they will not let people build new tracks around the country. I personally have to drive at least 45 minutes to get to a track which is only open on thursday night and saturday night for drags. Thursday is test and tune and saturday is only for people racing for points.

Default Racing aside...

...why the hell would you drive fast into smoke at 3am without your headlights on? No charges?

Or for that matter, walk out into the middle of a 55mph road in a cloud of smoke @ 3am?
