Default Teh widowmaker made an appearance tonight

<img src="http://images42.fotki.com/v1447/photos/1/1144118/5083232/flat_02122008_02-vi.jpg" />

After a fun drive in the 50mph winds, I am almost home and all of a sudden I hear a loud banging coming from the back of the car...

WTF
<img src="http://images47.fotki.com/v1454/photos/1/1144118/5083232/flat_02122008_01-vi.jpg" />

I was able to plug it without taking it off, at least it hapened on a warm day. Some daylight would have been nice though.

Just like the last time I had to stop in a parking lot to fix the car on the way home, lots of people walked by without saying a word.

Default The usual stuff >>

I got one of those little kits they sell in the auto parts store that comes with everything: plugs + tools, valve tool, patches, etc. The only thing is I got a set of t-handle tools for the plugs, the strait handle ones are much harder to use, especially when the tire is still on the car.

Default Sounds like what happened to me last year...

Heading back home and heard a loud bang. Brought it to the tire shop, and a brake pad went through the tire, and through the wheel! The tire held air until I got home fortunately.
