Thanks for all the helpful posts!
What a great forum! I just filled up my tank and the gas lid door stuck open. The latch was stuck and wouldn't project into the opening to catch the lid. This happened to me a couple years ago (also during a very cold stretch) but I couldn't remember what I did. I actually had posted a DIY on how I fixed it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it in the archives. But I did find a great DIY by JohnLZ7W that made the job a snap.
What a great resource for TT owners! It sure has made my TT owning experience a lot easier.
Thanks again to all!
BTW - in case this happens to anyone else...this time I didn't have to take the latch apart. I just removed the cover ring and moved the cable a bit. Apparently that was enough to free up the catch. I tried the button a couple times and it worked. I put a bit of grease on the plunger (maybe graphite would have been better?). Also a bit of grease around the rubber ring helps whole assembly push back down into the cavity a lot easer.

Glad you found it helpful!
This forum is an amazing resource... I replaced the coolant after run pump recently using a great writeup from SparTTan and did rear brake pads using blackfnTTruck's writeup. Would have been much more difficult using just the factory manuals.
