Default Is there any correlation between the timing belt failures and the climate?

I am at 60K right now, but was planning to do the TB at 80K together with the "other belts." (I don't remember what those other belts are and am too far from the maintenance booklet right now )

Being a California car owner, am I safer taking the chance until 80K? You know, cold weather might affect TB material more? Does it?

Does it even make sense to have the TB done together with the other belts? Would it save labor, or is TB sustantially a larger job anyway?

Thank you,
Ali

Yes. There is always a climate where timing belts fail. Historically, anyway.

I thinks there's a correlation between timing belt failures and posts about timing belts.
