Is there any way to de-activate the headlight washers?
Ok, I will admit the headlight sprayers are neat and a pretty good idea, except that I dont really drive in the mud and my headlights rarely need that sort of washing.
I am not too fond of the washer fluid covering the entire front end of the car either.
And yes, I know that they dont activate unless the sprayer switch is depressed for a few seconds, but that's just one more thing for my puny brain to remember.
Has anyone deactivated this function? I was thinking of pulling Fuse 33, but I didnt know if this would only deactivate the plunger mechanism of the washer or if it would shut off the washer pump or both. (I dont want to have the the stuff spraying inside the bumper)
Thanks for any advice.
(Maybe I could reroute the headlight washer to the rear bumper and use it as an anti-tailgater device, since I dont have a Rear Foglight!)

Re the anti tailgate idea
I have done this on other cars, but I do not know if it will work on the TT with the concealed windscreen washers.
Simply (ha, if possible) adjust one of your washer jets - probably one of the passenger side ones - so that it fires over the top of the windshield.
Any tailgater will instantly get off your clacker as soon as they have to slow down to clear the water off their windscreen.
Ans it is no less safe for the tailgater than driving into a rain squall!!
