Is there ANYTHING this car can't do??
The TT doubles as an appliance delivery truck...
I bought a new dishwasher the other day, and yesterday it was ready for pick-up. Faced with a $50 delivery fee I figured I would just see if it would fit in the back of the TT... it's been able to hold a lot of crap before.
So when the clerk wheeled it out I asked if he would give me a hand loading it into the back of my car.
"Which truck is yours?" he asked.
"It's that blue car over there," I replied.
"Bwahaha!! Good luck! Ya know, we can deliver this out to you for 50 bucks..."
"No thanks... it'll fit. Just help me load it in."
He watched in amazement as the back of the TT held the box perfectly... with room to spare!
Now for the install... my New Year's Day project.

That's a good question.
I was supposed to have some friends come in from Detroit and Grand Rapids but that fell through! We were going to go to the party at the Hyatt downtown but it didn't happen...
I've been so damn busy with work lately (my project is on a TIGHT timeline right now) that I didn't put in the effort to make any big plans this year (my boss told me to keep tomorrow OPEN, just in case). And being newer to Chicago I really don't have as many friends around here yet, so nothing really panned out. I had another buddy who lives downtown going to a party who said I might be able to go, but he is going with his GF and some other people I think, and I wasn't sure if I could scrounge up a date...
Geezus, how lame am I right now?? Oh well, I guess it will be an evening with Dick Clark sitting around in underwear (mine, not his). I guess I can look at it as a couple hundred bucks saved, which makes that dishwasher seem free!
