Default Is there a difference between the Forge and Bailey DV's besides cosmetics?

Also has anyone tried both and got different results. I have the Forged right now and not so sure it is performing up to par, and i do have the upgraded piston.

Default Both are good valves... Bailey is permanently sealed...

and has the plastic-sort-of piston. As you know, Forge is serviceable and now has the aluminum piston. Forge seems more solid in operation to me-- just my opinion, but I have run both valves for over 6K miles each.

What problems are you having? Might be time to disassemble your valve and inspect/re-lube.

Well, the Forge you can service, sure your problem is the Forge? All hoses tight?

Default Lots of bogging in low rpms, sometimes turbo will kick in and then just lost power until I shift to

another gear. I put the stock one back in this morning and seems to be a bit more smooth than the forged. However, not a strong a pull with the stock DV

Default 225? My 225 bogs too... turbo lag... but as for power loss...

you should really service the valve, and check hose connections as Jeff suggested.

Default Get one of these. They work and keep working because of the design.

Default can you try another valve for comparison purposes?

that is, try a non-broken Audi valve, or any other DV, so you can decide if it's the car or the valve?
