Default Thinking out loud.

So, I'm sure unless you've been living under a rock you know my issue with my car pooping out boost as if it just ate 2 lbs of Taco Bell.

Could this issue be fuel related?

Could a fuel pump not be up to par with the fuel demand?

Could it be an FPR?

And could it be a fuel filter?

I was driving the TDI awhile back and it was really struggling to accelerate... that was on the way to the 40k service. The changed some stuff, and on the way home I noticed it ran much better. The service manager told me that the fuel filter was really bad... and he was surprised the car was running okay...

Which makes me wonder if this could be the case on the TT.

Default Taco Bell? Bwahhaha. That was funny. About the TDI...

Diesels need a new fuel filter a LOT more often than gas cars. Like every 10,000 miles or something.

Default I have had...

Fuel filter related performance issues, though not on the TT.

In my case it was a second-hand Infiniti with ~85k miles. Owner used reg. gas from several brands, iffy locations, and had never changed the FF.

Immmediately after changing the fuel filter, I noticed a difference in throttle response. The car wasn't really any faster, but it was far more responsive and pleasant to drive.

Huge - It is possible that you have a software problem. Is your GAIC dealer close by? Reflash?

Default Yeah its close, but what do I say?

I mean... hey, I don't think you did it right?! Will you reflash my car?

Its Imagine Auto, and honestly I bet they would charge me 100 bucks to do it...
