For those that decided to high-roll with new fog bulbs, can you give me any install tips?

Actually, if I knew exactly how, I'd let ya know. I tend just to use the trial and error method

Default you should find my tips in the archives, but....

...basically you should start with the passengers side because it's easier to reach. There is a light gray plastic cover on the back of the fog bulb housing that you twist/unscrew to remove. The bulb itself is held in place with a spring clip...use a flashlight and you should be able to figure out how to remove it. There is one wire attached to the bulb, which can be tough to unplug...I had to use 2 pair of needlenose pliers to disconnect it. The passengers side is much easier than the drivers side...for that side, much of what you do is by 'feel'.

Good luck!

Default As funny as it sounds, that would be OK...

It's the single area of oil from a fingerprint that heats up and causes the bulb to overheat in that area...

Theoretically, if the bulb glass were evenly coated with canola, you'd have even heating and be fine, though it would smell like you were getting ready to pop corn... ;-)
