I remember numbers like that on mine too. About 25 mm of Hg during steady idle.

Default I'm here at about 800 ft. The things that -------->

The thing that changes my vac readings the most at idle is the engine temp. During cold start there is more throttle angle, etc. After things warm up to temp. vacuum increases and idle drops to around 800 rpm. If everyone had a Vag-Com we could compare idle, throttle angle,MAF g/s, etc. at idle. I also notice it makes a little difference where you get your readings also. Mine is taken from the DV.

Default Larry ---

What do you think? If your motor was up to operating temp. I'd think maybe you were a little low. I'm sure you have a aftermarket DV. I didn't have my gauge until after I put on my Forge DV. It would have been nice to see if I was losing vacuum there. It could be your gauge but I dought that it would be off that far. Maybe you have an o'ring leaking. I haven't had mine apart yet. I'm guessing that you are seeing the boost that you want.

Default Rechecked my boost gauge readings tonight . . .

I just rechecked my gauge tonight. It reads high until the engine is warm. It starts off around 10" Hg, or vacuum at the beginning, then it settles into a 24" reading.

I am at sea level.
