I hope this helps anyone who is looking for bike roof racks. I have found that the Thule "Tour" model is the same as the original Audi bike rack for TT, and the price is much cheaper, i paid about US$100 for it(just the bike rack). It works great and it is surprisingly secure. I was going about 100km for turns on mountain roads and (touch wood) my new bike didnt fall off kekeke. I just bought the Thule TT rack at REI. It's a regular clamp-to-the-window-opening type. Haven't tried it on the car yet.
