Tinted window thoughts... sorta OT
I finally experienced what folks here who live in places like Texas have complained about. I parked in enough sun, for long enough, to turn my shifter **** into a aluminum ringed flesh burner.
So, I thought it would be cool if all the windows in the TT could just 'turn' opaque when you park. I remeber seeing this really expensive home on an A&E show or somewhere, that had windows which would change from clear to opaque when an electrical charge was applied. Okay, is this completely impossible, and when can we have it in our cars?!

I remember seeing a similar thing somewhere ... I'm sure it's available for cars.
Of course you probably need a separate 300 lb. battery or something of the sort to power the unit. Awesome idea though.
