Default tire pressure and wax

hey, just got my TT and it's getting ready for it's first wax. i wanted to know what you guys are using for all around PSI...on the stock 17's. i don't believe the manual has any info on PSI for OEM tires nor does the michelin booklet that came with the car. i ran 35 on my old 2000 A4 with 16's.

also, i have heard much about the zymol, etc...but it sounds like kind of a pain to apply. beyond getting that wax what other good ones can i get at a regular store (and if you do use the zymol how long does it last...my car is usually covered at night). thanks.

possible ABT chip (pending AUDI approval) and snow tires (in the winter, of course).

Default A lot of people (including myself) use Zaino

but it does take time the first time you apply it. I usually spend a whole day doing the whole car, wash, wax, and polish, you would be even believe the results. The wax comes off very easy and can be done by hand (which is what I always do). I usually do that in the end of spring, and the very beginning of fall. Then all you do is hose the car off and then polish it later, usually takes 30 min - an hour depending on how clean you want it. Hope that helps

I use Meguiars A LOT as well as Klasse products--both work well (and look great)

Default Most people make the mistake with Zymol of using too much. The key is to only use a small amount and

only do small sections of the car at a time. Whatever you use, it's the cleansing step that's going to take the most time. Zymol's HD-Cleanse can be hard/time-consuming to use, but I've started using Zymol Lehn Clay instead. The clay is much easier to use and I get better results. I also don't have any of the problems some folks refer to with using clay bar, so I don't know if that's a Zymol thing, or if it's just a matter of using clay correctly, whatever you use (as I've only used the Zymol.)

Default I made that mistake with Zymol and once I started to use less it got a lot easier...

but it got even easier when I switched to Pinnacle brand wax products. They have the same philosophy as Zymol as far as having all natural products, real carnauba wax in high concentration and great smells to their products. However, I have found it a lot easier to use than Zymol. Not as much buffing.

All of the products listed so far will make your car look amazing.

Default I use Klasse polish on my wheels - it's a polymer sealant and lasts alot longer than wax

it bonds with the paint better than wax.
