Default tires and wheels

I'm looking to buy some 18" wheels but I want to know if i could go with a 235 tire size instead of the recomended 225? will the 235 rub on the suspension?

Default nope... depends on the offset and width of the rims.. and your suspension..

Default on stock suspension... any of those will be fine...but >>>

once you lower your car, depending on HOW low you go... rubbing becomes an issue...

the wheels on the picture below are 18x8 ET35... tires are 235x40/18... and they rubbed on my shock perch on my PSS9 coilovers...

so I needed 12MM spacers, and had to be 12MM: smaller would have hit the shock perch, bigger would have hit the outside fenders.....

conversely, 225 size tires would have worked perfectly without any spacers...

on 7.5 or 8" wheels 245s will be too wide, 225s or 235s would be better.
