Default tranny fluids and t-case fluids...

does the tranny and t-case share fluid?.... if not how much does each take to fill the tranny and t-case if so how much do i put in the tranny, i have the bent.. cd but it isn't working for some odd reason...and they haven't replied to my letters...

The haldex (or t-case) has its own filter and fluid which you can get at ECS tuning. There is a special wrench needed as well.
If you check the owners manual, they tell you what the spec's and amount that is needed. Lots have replaced with synthetic...which is not a bad idea. Sorry for not being more specific...had a few cocktails on this new yrs eve...

Default Haldex lube is sold in a 275ml container....

the spec says 1 bottle is used to refill the unit after a drain. The trans uses 2.6 liters (a little less than 3 quarts). The official Audi fluid capacity chart says "MANUAL TRANS: Use synthetic oil, SAE 75W90, Part No. G 005 000". Many like RedLine and I've found happiness with AmsOil 75W90 synthetic (a very quick warmup followed by "smooooth.... shifts like buttah").

Default oh no....

im not talking about the unit at the back of the car... the part where it splits from teh trany to the reat end..... does that use fluid from teh tranny or does it have its own fluid?....

Default no not realy ill get my cd working so i can look it up like i did last time i serviced evey thing...
