thats exactly how mine started... but I guess all anomalies start that way. May mean something... may not.
I would recommend everyone call their dealer, find out what the recommended grade/weight of oil Audi is recommending for the TT and purchase it elsewhere in a synthetic, then have Audi or someone else put it in. I worry about the "well" Audi is drawing their TT tranny oil from. May be paranoia, or simply my neurosis, but the oil I drained came from Audi. What could it possibly hurt just this once... to find a different source and pay the 14-15 bucks. Or maybe the Audi network at the dealer level has a synthetic oil in sealed factory containers. They will charge you for a non-scheduled maintenance tranny oil-change unless you can convince them of the validity and diminished liability in doing so.
