Default Ford, just like Chrysler for the Crossfire, set Audi as the benchmark standard!!!

Why settle for poor imitations when one can have the original innovator!! Ford,Chrysler, and Toyota are pathetic excuses for companies in the blatant abuse of design theft. Audi and Volkswagen set the standards on design and build quality and other firms copy instead of creating their own design and build standards. I expected more from these firms and individuals like J. Mays and Freeman Thomas. Audi and Volkswagen are unique because of their design and engineering integrity and these virtues cannot be copied.

Default Hey, don't get all testy... I'm just saying that we're in a biased position.

I would think I know what TT vents look like. I have one, remember?

Default Design, yes; build quality... well, I think there would be some here that would differ. ;)

None here (frantically knocking on wood)

I do, however, agree that the TT in particular and the A4/A6 have been victims of design theft. The TT design themes have been liberally looted, so much so that many car mags and other automotive reviewers are calling the TT a classic design in part because so many have echoed bits'n'pieces.

FWIW.
