Can anybody tell me where the bose amplifier is on a tt 2005 convertible ?
ihave looked in the trunk, or all around the trunk , behind the carpet in the trunk with no luck . NOw when I got the car the radio was missing , maybe they took the amplifier also. Just need to know where to look exactly for a 2005 TT MK1

or is it behind the subwoofer between the seats . Thanks

On a convertible it's located behind the passenger seat, sort of. I mean, it's in an area between the passenger seat and trunk. You access it via the 'porthole' or 'removable panel' that is where the convertible top stows away. I have a picture of the Bose amp as seen from that location. It's a 2001 TT, but in a 2005 and in my 2004 the location is the same.



I removed said amp via that access panel.
