TT Bigger engine...

Is Audi ever going to put a bigger engine in the TT? They have a few really fast family cars that would blow away a TT. The RS4's engine for instance, why not move that engine into a high end TT? Just wondering...

For anyone that is wondering I do love my TT.

I've heard that it is next to impossible to physically fit anything larger than the current 1.8 into the engine compartment. I have also heard that they are planning on a re-design in a few years (2005?) because the platform that the TT and many other cars are based on is changing. Maybe they'll add a larger engine then...

According to AutoCar and Auto Express mags...

... a 2.0 4cyl with 245hp will appear around summer and a 3.2 V6 with 240hp late 2002, early 2003. The latter one has less hp but smoother acceleration than the former.
