I have been looking for a 2004-2006 TT 250 with DSG but have not been able to find any with a reasonable number of miles or in good condition. I did run across two 1.8t TTs that had low milage and are very clean. One is a 2004 with just 24,000 mile. It is papaya orange (unique color) but has very few options - no heated seats and only the 1 disc CD player. The other is a 2006 with about 28,000 miles. It is silver and has most options except navigation. It is also about $4000 more. This will not be a daily driver but more of a hobby car that I would plan to keep for several years. What would be the better buy: 2004 with fewer miles and unique color or 2006 with 4,000 more miles but more options?
