Default TT Owners in Charleston, SC?

When I moved here 7 years ago I rarely saw an Audi on the road. Now I'm starting to see some TTs fairly regularly. Have there been any organized local TT events?

Any of you TT Owners in Charleston want to help a n00b understand some of the best mod options to get started? I'm not great with a wrench so I'd like to hear your experiences with any good local shops.

Feel free to contact me offline too.

Default I miss Charleston.....I used to fly there all the time.......

I used to love walking around the downtown area. Nice place to spend time.

Default no need to wait for the warranty to end before you mod your TT!...

I'm in Charleston two weeks each year with my TT (actually down in Kiawah, but I usually get into town a few times). Love the low country -- can't wait until I'm there permanently.

Default Grew up in SC and love that part of the country. Plan to retire to that area.

Lots of help here on the forum. Tell us what you want to do and we can work you through it.

The first mod or two is kinda scary, but once you start you get real use to it.

Default i'm one of you charleston boys...

but i know nothing beyond what i read here about modding tt's or any car for that matter. i'm gonna wait a couple of years before doing any performance mods. that modshack cold air intake might be a good place to start for you, though.

bierburner sounds like he might be a good source for help in the local area. Bill

Default Up the street from you in Columbia

Start with a diverter valve and a chip and you'll roll from there.

Charleston is our favorite city in S.C. Use to go there a lot before our daughter was born. Now we'll be going to Myrtle Beach for about 18 years before we go back to vacation at IOP.

Default I'll be in the area March 10-12th if you want to get together...

I'll be without my TT there for business, but feel free to contact me if you want to meet up.

Cheers,

Rich
