Default TT Roadster Exhaust

Hi, my new TTR 225 is arriving in October, a guy in the pub just told me that the exhaust as standard is squashed so as to give greater ground clearance. This , he says reduces the H.P. by 30, is this true ? If so can I weld in a round section and get back the horses ? I've ordered the baseball leather interior, any comments on that too ?

Default Can't help ya on the exhaust issue, but I do have the baseball leather interior...

After a year and a half with the car, the leather looks better than when new...

The orange "ish" tone mellows out and the color gets deeper...really starts to look like a broken in mitt...

Consider getting some Connolly's Hide Food or Lexol leather cleaner for keeping the seats in tip top shape...

Enjoy your car!

Default Stock exhaust does have a flattened spot...

but even a complete cat-back system (I have the Borla), will only net you 7-10 horsepower, 30 is a total exaggeration...
