Default TT Trunk Size

I am condsidering a TT roadster for my next Audi (I have a 98.5 A4 2.8Q), however I have a question regarding the size of the trunk. Can one fit a set of golf clubs in the current TT without puting the seats down? I am presuming the TT roadster trunk will be the same size, since the backseat is eliminated for the top and its mechanicals. Thanks for any insight.

I have the same concern as I'm ready to order either the 225 coupe or roadster. R&T had a recent story (yesterday's Forum) that cited a 15% reduction in the coupe's trunk size.

Matt, my wife and I are on a 9k+ mile trip in out TT and have a large suitcase and one smaller one (the kind the flight attendants use) in the trunk, with plenty of room to spare, so I would assume that the clubs should fit.

All our friends/family are amazed at the space under the hatch.

Ron

Roadster is a lot smaller. I reckon one third size vs. coupe with seats down

I've seen both and the Roadster has 40 litres less capacity than the Coupe. This is due to the space taken up by the roof when lowered. This has no effect on the width of the trunk but effectively shortens it by 250-300mm. I say effectively because there is space the full length but it is at a reduced height. Ideal for soft bags but I'm not sure about golf clubs. If you could post the dimensions you require I will check the next time I'm at my dealer.

Paul.

Besides the flexible rear deck cover needs to be stowed in the trunk when the roof's up.

GPS is an option on the 225 TTQ, cost approx. $1,200.
